As if you needed more.  Another lousy day in paradise.  Out on the kayak in the afternoon and chased down this fellow.  Not to bad for a Lower Keys Redfish.  He fell for my not so well placed but enticingly stripped Merkin.  Once I spotted him and moved the kayak into position, I threw the fly and after a second cast, he spotted it and moved on it.  Wait a second and then strike.  Fish on.  Not too bad.

I spotted two more reds that afternoon, but couldn’t get the boat into position.  Also almost ran over a giant snook.  Got to love the Keys.  Now, if I can only track down the Tarpon and Bonefish…
